Lukas Plachel

Co-founder – Investing

Lukas is responsible for the development and implementation of Kaspar&'s investment strategies and software. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of St.Gallen in the area of quantitative asset management. In his past, Lukas has developed state-of-the-art investment strategies for Swiss pension funds and large institutional clients which have been implemented, among others, by the Swiss Stock Exchange (SIX) as a part of their official SPI Index Series.

About Kaspar&

Kasparund AG was founded in 2020 as a spin-off from the University of St.Gallen (HSG) and the ETH Zurich. In 2021, we launched our unique investment and payment app in order to expand our operations and growth. Kaspar& is headquartered in St.Gallen but also has a second office in Zurich too.
